Data retention is an Enterprise-only feature. Contact our sales team to learn more about upgrading to Enterprise access.

Data retention settings allow you to control how long your Workflow run history is stored in Cassidy. This helps you manage data storage and comply with your organization's data governance policies.

  1. Navigate to the Workflow: Locate the Workflow you want to configure data retention for on the Workflows page and click on it to open the Workflow.

  2. Click "Edit": In the top right corner of the Workflow page, click the "Edit" button to access the Workflow editor.

  3. Access Data Retention settings: Click the "..." (more options) ellipsis menu and under "Advanced", click "Data Retention".

  4. Select retention type: Choose from the available retention options:

    • Forever: Run history will be retained indefinitely, or until manually deleted

    • Custom: Specify a custom retention period based on your needs

  5. Configure custom retention: If you selected "Custom," enter the retention period (e.g., 15) and select the unit (Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, or Years) from the dropdown menu.

  6. Click "Save": Save your retention settings to apply them to the workflow.

  7. Manual deletion: You can also manually delete existing run history by clicking "Delete Workflow Run History" and then confirming the deletion by clicking "Delete" once again.

Note: Once data is deleted based on retention settings or manual deletion, it cannot be recovered. Make sure your retention settings align with your organization's data governance requirements.
