How to set up and use Add Labels to Microsoft Outlook Message action

Add a label to a Microsoft Outlook message. Follow these steps:

  1. Add an Add Label to Microsoft Outlook Message action: While editing a workflow, click the plus button between existing blocks. This will open a modal where you can select from Cassidy's pre-configured actions. Choose the Add Label to Microsoft Outlook Message action to add it to your workflow.

  2. Rename the action (if needed): If you want to make the action more descriptive or easier to reference as a variable later, enter a new name by clicking on the current name.

  3. Add Microsoft Outlook connection: If you haven't already, connect your Microsoft Outlook account to Cassidy.

  4. Toggle on "Add Label to Trigger Email" (optional): If using in conjunction with "New Email Received in Microsoft Outlook" trigger, enable this option to automatically add labels to the email that triggered the Workflow.

  5. Enter "Email" (optional): Enter an email ID manually, use a variable from previous steps (such as the message ID from a trigger), or click the list icon to directly search and select an email from those pulled in by the trigger. If "Add Label to Trigger Email" is enabled, this field can be left empty.

  6. Enter "Labels to Add": Select existing Microsoft Outlook labels by searching and selecting them, or click the pencil icon to manually enter label names. You can add multiple labels to organize your emails effectively.
