Stay informed when your Workflows encounter issues by configuring notification settings. Cassidy allows you to set up alerts for Workflow failures, ensuring you can quickly address any problems and maintain smooth automation.

  1. Access Account Settings: Click on your name in the bottom left of the sidebar, then click the settings icon next to your name.

  2. Navigate to Workflow Notifications: Once in the Account Settings, click "Workflow Notifications".

  3. Select when to notify for Workflows you create: Configure how you want to be notified about failures for Workflows you own:

    • Daily Summary: Summary of all failures once per day

    • Hourly Summary: Summary of failures once per hour

    • Immediate: Instant notification when any Workflow fails

    • Off: No notifications

  4. Save your notification preferences: Click "Save" to apply your notification settings for Workflows you create.

  5. Add custom notifications for other Workflows: To receive notifications for Workflows you don't own, click "+ Add Subscription".

  6. Select the Workflow: Click the "No workflow selected" dropdown and choose the Workflow you want to be notified about.

  7. Choose notification frequency: Select from the same frequency options (Daily Summary, Hourly Summary, Immediate, or Off) and click "Save".

  8. Subscribe directly from a Workflow: Alternatively, you can set up notifications from within any Workflow by clicking the three dots menu, then selecting "Failure Notifications" to configure alerts for that specific Workflow.

  9. Manage existing subscriptions: You can search active subscriptions, update the notification frequency, or remove subscriptions directly from the list view.

  10. Review failure notifications: When a Workflow fails, you'll receive a "Workflow alert" notification showing the error details, affected Workflow name, and error summary. You can click "Edit this Workflow" to fix the issue or "View Failed Workflow Run" for more details.

By setting up Workflow failure notifications, you'll stay informed about any issues with your automations and can take quick action to resolve problems, ensuring your business processes continue running smoothly.
