How to set up and use the Remove Association action
To remove the link between two records in HubSpot, follow these steps:
Add a Remove Association action: While editing a Workflow, click the plus button between existing blocks. It will open a modal where you can select from Cassidy's pre-configured actions. Choose the Remove Association action to add it to your Workflow.
Add HubSpot connection: If you haven't already, read this guide to connect your HubSpot account to Cassidy.
Rename the action (if needed): If you want to make the action more descriptive or easier to reference as a variable later, enter a new name.
Select "Source Object Type": Select the object type of the source record (e.g., Contacts, Company, Deals, Tickets, Calls, Meetings).
Enter "Source Object ID": Provide the ID of the source record. You can type the ID directly or reference a variable from a previous step or the trigger.
Select "Associated Object Type": Select the object type of the associated records you want to disassociate (e.g., Contact, Company, Deal, Ticket).
Enter "Associated Object IDs": Provide the IDs of the records to disassociate from the source record. Use commas to separate multiple IDs. You can type the IDs directly or reference a variable from a previous step or the trigger.
Publish the Workflow: The action will successfully remove the association between the specified HubSpot records, and the output will confirm that the disassociation was completed.
