Cassidy allows you to transfer Agents between organizations or create backups by exporting and importing Agent files as JSON format. This feature is useful for sharing Agents with team members, moving Agents to different organizations, or maintaining backup copies of your work.
Export an Agent
Transfer your Agent to another organization or create a backup copy.
Navigate to the Agents page: Click on the "Agents" option in the left sidebar of your Cassidy dashboard.
Open the Agent settings: Locate the Agent you want to edit and click the "..." icon in the top right corner of the Agent's card. From the dropdown menu, select "Export."
You can also access this from the Agent configuration page by clicking the "..." menu and selecting "Export Agent."
Import an Agent
Bring an existing Agent into your current organization.
Start creating a new Agent: Click "+ New Agent" from the Agents page.
Select Import Agent: Instead of choosing "Create a Custom Agent" or "Create Blank Agent" or "Start From a Template," click "Import Agent."
Upload the Agent file: Upload the Agent JSON file by either dragging it into the designated area or clicking to browse and select the file from your machine.
Complete the import: Click "Import Agent" to add the Agent to your current organization.
The imported Agent will retain all its original settings, tools, and configurations, but you may need to reconnect any integrations or update credentials specific to your organization.
