# Reply to email with Outlook
> Reply to a specific email in an Outlook conversation thread from a Workflow.
Use the **Reply to Email with Microsoft Outlook** action to reply to an email from your connected Outlook account as part of a [Workflow](/workflows/overview). You can reply to the email that triggered the Workflow or specify a particular email to respond to.
## Set up the action
While editing a Workflow, click the **+** button between existing blocks. Select **Reply to Email with Microsoft Outlook** from the action list.
Click the action name to give it a more descriptive label for easier reference as a variable in later steps.
If you haven't already, connect your Microsoft Outlook account to Cassidy.
If you're using this action with the **New Email Received in Microsoft Outlook** trigger, enable **Reply to Trigger Email** to reply to the same email thread that started the Workflow.
If **Reply to Trigger Email** is not enabled, enter an email address manually or use a variable from previous steps (such as the sender's email from a trigger).
Enable **Reply All** to send the reply to all recipients of the original email, including those in the CC field.
In the **Email Body** field, enter the content of your reply. You can reference variables from previous steps or the trigger to personalize the message.
Select from available variables to include as attachments, such as outputs from **Export as PDF** or **Export as Microsoft Word Document** actions.
Click on the options under **Optional Fields** to configure additional settings like **To**, **Cc**, and **Bcc**, then fill out the corresponding fields.
