# Sync integrations

> Understand how Cassidy keeps your integrated data in sync and how to manage sync schedules.

When you connect file platforms like [Google Drive](/integrations/google-workspace/google-drive/overview), [SharePoint](/integrations/microsoft-365/sharepoint/overview), or [Slack](/integrations/slack/overview) to your [Knowledge Base](/knowledge-base/overview), Cassidy keeps your data in sync automatically so your [Agents](/agents/overview) and [Workflows](/workflows/overview) always reference the latest information.

## Automatic syncing

Every connected integration syncs automatically on a 24-hour cycle. When you update, add, or remove files in the connected platform, those changes are reflected in Cassidy within one sync cycle.

* No manual effort required — syncing happens in the background
* New files added to synced folders are imported automatically
* Edits to existing documents are picked up on the next sync
* Deleted files are removed from your Knowledge Base on the next sync

## Live syncing

For teams that need real-time data, live syncing provides instant updates whenever changes are made in the connected platform.

* Changes appear in Cassidy within seconds instead of hours
* Ideal for fast-moving teams where information changes frequently
* Supports all integration-connected data sources
