# Summarize LinkedIn profile

> Generate an AI summary of a LinkedIn profile from a profile URL.

Generate an AI-powered summary of a LinkedIn profile from a URL. Returns a concise overview of the person's background, experience, and expertise. Use this to quickly understand a prospect, candidate, or meeting attendee.

    In the Workflow builder, click **+** between blocks and select **Summarize LinkedIn Profile** from the action library.

    In the **LinkedIn Profile URL** field, enter the URL of the LinkedIn profile you want to summarize. You can paste the URL directly or use **#** to reference a variable from a previous step or trigger.
