# Use Widgets in Agent chats

> Ask an Agent to build interactive forms, review queues, and charts directly inside a chat reply so you can respond without leaving the conversation.

Turn an [Agent](https://docs.cassidyai.com/agents/overview.md) reply into something you can click, filter, and submit instead of something you only read.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Widgets is a beta feature that Cassidy enables for selected teams. If you
> don't see **Widgets** in your chat tools menu, contact your Cassidy
> representative.

## What you'll learn

* What Widgets are and when they work better than a plain text reply
* How to turn on Widgets for a chat or an Agent
* How to ask an Agent for a Widget, and how to adjust it in plain language
* What happens to your selections when you submit a Widget

## Put it into practice

**1. Turn on Widgets**

In a chat, open the tools menu beside the chat input and select **Widgets**.
To make it permanent for an Agent, add **Widgets** under **Capabilities** in
the Agent editor and publish.

**2. Ask for a Widget by name**

An Agent only creates a Widget when you ask for a **widget** or
**interactive widget**. Describe the decisions, fields, or filters you need,
such as `Create an interactive widget that lets me review these answers and
        approve or correct each one.`

**3. Interact and submit**

Click, filter, type, or attach files inside the reply. When you submit, your
selections go back to the same conversation and the Agent continues from
them.

**4. Refine it**

Ask for changes in plain language, such as adding a filter or showing the
source for each answer. The Agent updates the Widget.
