Understanding Cassidy Credits
Cassidy credits are a metric for measuring the use of Cassidy's AI services, like assistants and workflows. Each month, a set number of credits are given based on your subscription.
API Calls and Token Usage
Cassidy Credits are linked to API calls and token usage. Each API request uses tokens, counting towards your credit consumption. Tokens represent units of text processed by the AI, used in:
Inputs: Tokens in text sent to the AI.
Outputs: Tokens in text received from the AI.
The sum of these tokens directly affects your Cassidy credit usage. This usage based pricing allows for a better price compared to a traditional seat based software pricing system.
Credit Consumption in Chats and Workflows
The average credit use varies:
Chats with Assistants: A chat uses between 1 to 30 credits on average, depending on conversation complexity and length.
Workflows: A workflow typically uses between 1 to 40 credits on average, varying with the complexity and extent of automated tasks.
