Integrate your Notion pages with Cassidy

How to connect and import Notion content to Cassidy

Connecting your Notion account to Cassidy allows you to seamlessly import and sync your knowledge base content. This integration enables you to leverage the power of AI-assisted search and analysis within Cassidy while maintaining your existing Notion structure.

To connect your Notion account to Cassidy, follow these steps:

  1. Access Account Settings: Click on your name in the bottom left of the sidebar, then click the settings icon next to your name.

  2. Navigate to Connected Apps: Once in the Account Settings, click Connected Apps.

  3. Initiate Notion connection: Click the Connect Notion button to start the integration process.

  4. Log in to Notion: A popup window will appear, prompting you to log in to your Notion account if you are not already logged in.

  5. Accept access request: Review the access request and click Accept to grant Cassidy permission to access your Notion pages.

  6. Connection established: Once you have accepted the access request, your Notion account will be connected to Cassidy.

    *If you ever need to disconnect the integration, simply click the Disconnect button.

  7. Import Notion pages: In the Cassidy knowledge base, navigate to the import section (see the importing from external apps & integrations article in the Knowledge Base collection for more information). Select the desired Notion pages and click Import to bring your content into Cassidy.

    *Content from the selected files and folders will now be imported to the Cassidy knowledge base and synced regularly (see the syncing integrations article for more information).

    ​​*If you haven't already connected the Notion app, you can also initiate the connection process directly from the import section in the knowledge base.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly connect your Notion account to Cassidy, enabling you to import and sync your valuable knowledge base content. This integration empowers your team to leverage Cassidy's AI capabilities while maintaining the familiarity and structure of your Notion pages.

Importing additional pages from Notion to Cassidy knowledge base

If you're experiencing issues with Cassidy not being able to access certain Notion pages, follow these step-by-step instructions to resolve the problem:

  1. Share the desired pages with Cassidy: Open Notion and go to the pages you want to import into your Cassidy knowledge base. Ensure these pages are shared with CassidyAI. If not, follow the steps below.

  2. Navigate to Notion's Settings & Members: Click on the "Settings & Members" tab in the Notion sidebar.

  3. Go to "My connections": Locate and click the "My connections" section on the left panel.

  4. Find CassidyAI and share selected pages: Scroll through the list of connections to find CassidyAI. Click on the "Access selected pages" button next to CassidyAI. A list of all Notion pages will appear. Look for the pages you want to import to the Cassidy knowledge base, and select the checkbox next to each page to share them with CassidyAI.

  5. Check the Cassidy knowledge base / Notion import function: Sign in to your Cassidy account. Open your Cassidy knowledge base. Navigate to the "Notion Import" function. The shared pages from Notion should now appear as import options.
