Integrate your Box files with Cassidy

How to connect and import Box content to Cassidy

Cassidy can seamlessly connect to Box, allowing you to access and manage your documents within the platform.

To connect your Box account to Cassidy, follow these steps:

  1. Access Account Settings: Click on your name in the bottom left of the sidebar, then click the settings icon next to your name.

  2. Navigate to Connected Apps: Once in the Account Settings, click Connected Apps.

  3. Initiate Box connection: Click the Connect Box button to start the integration process.

  4. Log in to Box: A popup window will appear, prompting you to log in to your Box account if you are not already logged in.

  5. Accept access request: Review the access request and click Accept to grant Cassidy permission to access your Box files and folders.

  6. Connection established: Once you have accepted the access request, your Box content will be connected to Cassidy.

    *If you ever need to disconnect the integration, simply click the Disconnect button.

  7. Import Box files and folders: In the Cassidy knowledge base, navigate to the import section (see the importing from external apps & integrations article in the Knowledge Base collection for more information). Select the desired Box files and folders and click Import to bring your content into Cassidy.

    ​*Content from the selected files and folders will now be imported to the Cassidy knowledge base and synced regularly (see the syncing integrations article for more information).

    ​*If you haven't already connected the Box app, you can also initiate the connection process directly from the import section in the knowledge base.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly connect your Box accounts to Cassidy, enabling you to import and sync your valuable knowledge base content. This integration empowers your team to leverage Cassidy's AI capabilities while maintaining the familiarity and structure of your Box files and folders.
