Cassidy's Agent creation flow makes it easier and more intuitive than ever to build powerful, personalized AI Agents. With over 75 templates to choose from, and enhanced customization options, you can create the perfect Agent for any task.
Start creating your Agent: Navigate to the "All Agents" section and click the "+ Create New Agent" button in the top right corner.
Choose your Agent type: You have access to over 75 new templates organized by department, or you can create a custom Agent from scratch.
To use a template: Browse the templates organized by department (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Engineering, etc.) on the left-hand side. Click on a department to see the available templates, then select one that fits your needs.
To create a custom Agent: Click on "Create a Custom Agent" and provide a name and description for your Agent.
Define Agent instructions: Once you've selected a template or started a custom Agent, the system will generate a series of questions tailored to your selection. Answer these questions to help the AI refine the Agent's purpose and instructions, then click "Continue" to move to the next step.
Add Knowledge Bases: Connect your Agent to relevant information sources by selecting the parts of the Knowledge Base you want your Agent to access under the "Knowledge Base" section. Click "Continue" when finished.
Add Tools: A new feature in this flow allows you to add tools directly during the creation process. Under "Tools," you can add integrations that allow your Agent to interact with external apps, such as "Web Search" and "Data Analysis." Click "Continue" to proceed.
Review and customize: Finalize your Agent's appearance and permissions in this step.
Customize your Agent's icon: Click on the "Customize" option to change the icon and background color. You can choose from a wide selection of new icons and colors.
Define permissions: Set the access permissions for your new Agent. You can choose to place it in a specific folder to control who can use it.
Click "Continue" when finished.
Finalize and deploy: The final screen will confirm that your Agent is ready. Click "Start Chat" to begin using your new Agent immediately.
Once your Agent is created, you can start using it in chats and workflows.
