Cassidy's Agent creation flow makes it easier and more intuitive than ever to build powerful, personalized AI Agents. With over 75 templates to choose from, and enhanced customization options, you can create the perfect Agent for any task.

  1. Start creating your Agent: Navigate to the "All Agents" section and click the "+ New Agent" button in the top right corner.

  2. Choose your creation method: Select from four options to create your Agent:

    • Custom Agent: Describe your desired Agent in plain language and Cassidy will generate an Agent based on your description

    • Create Blank Agent: Start with a completely blank Agent for full customization

    • Import Agent: Upload an existing Agent file to import into your organization. For more information, see the Importing and exporting an Agent article.

    • Template: Browse and select from templates based on common use cases

  3. Chat with the Agent Copilot (if using Custom Agent or Template): If you selected the "Custom Agent" option, you can chat with the Agent Copilot to refine your AI Agent. The Copilot will help you describe your desired Agent and generate the appropriate instructions and configuration. The system will generate a series of questions tailored to your needs. Answer these questions to help the AI refine the Agent's purpose and instructions.

  4. Edit your Agent (optional): After the initial creation, you can further customize your Agent's configuration, instructions, Knowledge Base access, connectors, capabilities, and more. For detailed guidance on editing your Agent, refer to the Editing an Agent and Using the Agent Copilot article.

  5. Publish your Agent: Once you're satisfied with your Agent's configuration, publish it to make it available for use. For detailed information on publishing and managing versions, see the Publishing Agents and reviewing version history article.

Once your Agent is created and published, you can start using it in chats and workflows.

To learn how to interact with your Agent in a chat, refer to the selecting an Agent article in the Chat collection.

For information on using Agents in workflows, see the Use Cassidy Agent article in the Triggers & Actions collection.
