How to connect and import Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint content to Cassidy

CassidyAI can seamlessly connect to OneDrive and SharePoint, allowing you to access and manage your documents within the platform. OneDrive is ideal for individual document storage, while SharePoint is designed for team storage. Since CassidyAI integrates with SharePoint, it can also integrate with OneDrive by syncing your files.

To connect your SharePoint account to Cassidy, follow these steps:

  1. Sync your OneDrive files to a SharePoint site: Refer to this Microsoft support article for detailed instructions on how to copy files and folders between OneDrive and SharePoint - Copy files and folders between OneDrive and SharePoint Sites

  2. Access Account Settings: Click on your name in the bottom left of the sidebar, then click the settings icon next to your name.

  3. Navigate to Connected Apps: Once in the Account Settings, click Connected Apps.

  4. Initiate SharePoint connection: Click the Connect SharePoint button to start the integration process.

  5. Log in to Microsoft: A popup window will appear, prompting you to log in to your Microsoft account if you are not already logged in.

  6. Accept access request: Review the access request and click Accept to grant Cassidy permission to access your SharePoint files and folders.

  7. Connection established: Once you have accepted the access request, your SharePoint account will be connected to Cassidy.

*If you ever need to disconnect the integration, simply click the Disconnect button.

  8. Import SharePoint files and folders: In the Cassidy knowledge base, navigate to the import section (see the importing from external apps & integrations article in the Knowledge Base collection for more information). Select the desired SharePoint files and folders and click Import to bring your content into Cassidy.

*Content from the selected files and folders will now be imported to the Cassidy knowledge base and synced regularly (see the syncing integrations article for more information).

*If you haven't already connected the SharePoint app, you can also initiate the connection process directly from the import section in the knowledge base.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly connect your OneDrive and SharePoint accounts to Cassidy, enabling you to import and sync your valuable knowledge base content. This integration empowers your team to leverage Cassidy's AI capabilities while maintaining the familiarity and structure of your Microsoft files and folders.
