Capture conversations automatically, then use Cassidy to review summaries, search transcripts, and automate follow-up work.

What you’ll learn

  • How to connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook
  • How to choose which meetings Cassidy joins
  • How to review recordings, customizable summaries, timestamped transcripts, clips, and comments
  • How to chat with meetings or use them in Agents, the Knowledge Base, and Workflows

Put it into practice

1

Connect your calendar

Open Meetings, select Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, and authorize Cassidy.
2

Configure the recorder

Choose which meetings Cassidy joins, who receives summaries, and what recording notice appears. Keep the recorder display name consistent across your team to avoid duplicate bots and double-counted meeting hours.
3

Review your first meeting

Make sure someone admits the recorder to the call. After the meeting, review the recording, summary, and timestamped transcript.
4

Use the meeting

Chat with one meeting, search meetings you can access, or use a Meeting ended Trigger to automate follow-up work.
Before sharing a Workflow with a Meeting ended Trigger, confirm that its outputs do not expose meeting information to people who cannot access the source meeting.
